Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who thinks like a Product Manager and utilizes AI to code like a Fullstack Developer.

You will join our Matching Team, the core engine of our business, which is fueled by four other Engineers, a Team Lead, Product manager, Agile Coach and UX designer. The matching team’s mission is to improve the quality of our customer-to-partner matching flows – ensuring customers and partners get the best possible service – and to drive the digital transformation of our platform. You’ll directly partner with the Product Manager and UX Designer to build experiences that shape how thousands of customers find the right service providers for their house projects.

  • Be a Product Engineer: You don’t just implement tickets; you take technical ownership of features. You will drive initiatives from discovery to delivery, shaping requirements and defining success metrics alongside your PM and UX counterparts.
  • Bridge the Gap with AI: While you are a specialist in Frontend (React/TypeScript), you will use AI Agents and tooling (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT) to confidently navigate, debug, test, and deploy changes to our Backend (Golang) services.
  • Own the Core Matching Experience: You collaborate closely with stakeholders to improve our core matching process, ensuring we are effectively digitizing our platform with seamless self-service flows.
  • Iterate & Optimize: You utilize lean methods to deliver value quickly, analyzing data to see if your features are actually solving user problems, and iterating based on real-world data.
Skills
  • Frontend Expertise: As a Frontend Specialist, you can prove extensive experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6), and are proficient in React.js, Next.js, and other modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries
  • AI-Assisted Workflow: You are proficient in using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) not just to write boilerplate, but to unblock yourself in unfamiliar codebases and maximize your efficiency.
  • Backend Adaptability: You may not be a Backend expert, but you have the technical foundation and AI proficiency to understand, debug, and contribute to Backend services (bonus points if you are familiar with Golang). You are willing to step outside your comfort zone to deliver a full-stack feature.
  • Product Mindset: You care about the "Why" as much as the "How." You understand business metrics (such as conversion rates) and view code as a means to solve customer problems.
  • Communication: You are comfortable negotiating scope, explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, and driving clarity in complex domains.
  • Team Player: You strive for collaboration, are ready to pair program, share knowledge on AI workflows, and contribute to a blameless culture of continuous improvement.
